Unearthing the Mysteries of Ancient Shechem

The ancient city of Shechem, situated in the heart of the land of Israel, is referenced more than seventy times from Genesis through Acts. It is the place where God spoke to Abraham and promised that through his seed all the nations of the earth would be blessed-a prophetic foreshadowing of the coming Messiah. Shechem is also where Joshua convened the historic covenant assembly between Mount Gerizim (the Mount of Blessing) and Mount Ebal (the Mount of Curses), proclaiming the timeless declaration, "Choose you this day whom you will serve.... But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!" (Joshua 24:15).In this compelling work, Messianic Rabbi Zev Porat-born and raised in Israel-reveals biblical mysteries that have remained largely hidden from modern readers. Each revelation traces a profound connection to ancient Shechem as well as Golgotha, offering fresh insight into Scripture's prophetic continuity. This unique journey of spiritual archaeology uncovers powerful elements of God's eternal plan and demonstrates their relevance for believers today. Readers will gain a deeper understanding of the Messiah's mission and be encouraged in their daily walk with Yeshua.
