University and Cultural Policy: Knowledge practice in Extension

Studying the University over the years gives rise to a curiosity to understand the crises and changes it undergoes in different contexts, reshaping itself politically and bringing with it the ability to emerge with cultural traits, discourses and actions in new profiles in its relationship with the production and dissemination of knowledge to society. It defines concepts, goals, strategies, and actions, redesigning dynamics and purposes for academic-administrative contexts. This enthusiastic dynamic of the university can be seen in the implementation of the extension space and its proposals, which can be more daring in political dialogue and in the production of new institutional cultures. The implementation of a cultural policy in the university, measured by training in contexts that are significant to the relationship with society and the profession, can contribute to the promotion of a more equitable human education. It is to this extent that culture brings reflection to the training of university youth closer to the ability to understand society and their role in it.
