Unusual Occurrences on the Road to Unlimited Devotion is a collection of stories, perspectives, poetry, and opinions about the Grateful Dead scene as told by over 750 Deadheads, spanning roughly 30 years of the unique culture of the band and its fans, the Deadheads. The focus of this book is not what was happening on the stage, but what was happening out on the floor, in the hallways, out in the parking lots, highways, hotels and during the days between Grateful Dead shows. These stories are the tales that people remember as though they happened yesterday and form an unforgettable legacy. These are the experiences that changed people's lives, tales of magic, miracles, serendipity, catharsis, unmitigated fun, misadventures, cross-country traveling, metaphysical spirituality, and grilled cheese sandwiches.
