Using The WhatsApp platform for engagement and participation in Boane: impact of user produced content

The study aimed to implement in the communities, in particular the district of Boane, in which it constituted the pilot project phase through the research "Influence of WhatsApp on community engagement and participation, focusing on the impact of content produced by users in the district of Boane" inserted in the project "One Family, One Phone-(1F-1T) ", the study proposes to the heads of households and the community in general, specific solutions that can be solved by sharing digital content anchored to the adaptamoz movement, through the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), specifically WhatsApp, which can improve rural development and strengthen family farming, education, health, food and climate change, providing wider access to information and facilitating communication in rural areas. Social networks are crucial tools for drawing attention to important issues in rural areas, such as health and education. However, there are gender inequalities and access to technology, which is already perceived by all of us, affecting mainly women and girls.
