Vanity Kills

Deep in the swamps of southern Louisiana, a broken and reclusive man named Jack LeBlanc is desperate for a second chance. When he enrolls in a cutting-edge clinical trial for Obsidian, a revolutionary tissue-regeneration drug promising to heal permanent scars, it seems like a life-changing opportunity. However, one by one, the volunteers begin to irreparably change in both body and mind. What starts as a miracle rapidly unravels into a sinister cautionary tale about narcissism, greed, and revenge. From the award-winning author of The Rictus Grin and Other Tales of Insanity comes a pulse-pounding, viscerally terrifying thriller that will keep you up at night.
