Victor V. Fate

Hattenville had forgotten Victor, but the orphan boy had greater expectations, and so he decides to leave behind the dreadful past of reform schools and group homes to begin his journey with long walk away from the place he once called home. Little does he know that those steps will jettison him into a series of fantastical adventures that will have him battle modern incarnations of witches, giants, nomads, lawmen, and mad scientists in a perilous quest to discover his true fate. This hero's s journey transforms him in subtle, human manners as we are watching the quiet, once forgotten orphan become sure of his body, mind, and spirit by using stoicism to confront the phantasmic world he has fallen into. Victor's only 'super' power to defeat this series of often dangerous, sometimes farcical adversaries is forward momentum; to endure, and to keep faith when all seems lost.
