Voices From Heaven

Voice From Heaven is a collected journey through the spiritual, philosophical, and human landscapes explored in the poetry of Ketema W. Yohannes. This collection brings together poems drawn from three earlier works-The Prophet and God Mind, Letters From Angels: The Old Lady and Time, and Dies Like Tree Leaves, Then Is Born Again. Although each book carries its own atmosphere and themes, together they form a continuous poetic search: a search for meaning beyond the visible world, for the relationship between the human mind and the divine, and for the mystery of life, death, time, and renewal. In The Prophet and God Mind, the poems look inward and upward. The human mind becomes a place of questioning, revelation, and spiritual reflection. The Prophet, God, nature, birth, death, the eagle, the sun, the rainbow, and human nature become symbols through which the poet explores the unseen dimensions of existence. The poems ask what it means to be human and whether the deepest truths of life can be discovered within the mind, in nature, or in a higher spiritual presence.Letters From Angels: The Old Lady and Time moves into another dimension of the journey. Here, poetry becomes a kind of correspondence between the visible and invisible worlds. Time, age, memory, angels, loneliness, and the passage of human life create a landscape where the past and present seem to speak to one another. The poems reflect on what remains when years pass, when people change, and when the human heart searches for a voice beyond ordinary experience. In Dies Like Tree Leaves, Then Is Born Again, the journey turns toward transformation. The falling leaf becomes a powerful image of mortality, while the possibility of new life suggests renewal rather than an absolute ending. Death and rebirth, darkness and light, disappearance and return become parts of the same natural and spiritual movement. Like a tree that loses its leaves yet continues to live, the human spirit may pass through seasons of loss, silence, and transformation before discovering another beginning.Voice From Heaven brings these three journeys together.
