It rains upon the people, but it yields no harvest. It floods the land with corruption, but it leaves the soil barren. It pours promises, but delivers nothing.And the people cry out as the scripture says:"I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me."- Matthew 25:42-43This is the cry of South Africa today. Hungry, yet denied food. Thirsty, yet denied water. Jobless, yet denied opportunity. Poor, yet denied dignity.
