College Place is next to the larger town of Walla Walla and is in the Walla Walla Valley.For 121 years, WWVA has had one purpose - to prepare students for the Second Coming of Christ by instilling in each a love for God, for learning, for life and for service. It has seen many changes since it opened in 1886 as Milton Academy. Originally the school was located in Milton-Freewater, Oregon, where the City Hall building is situated today. It was the first Seventh-day Adventist academy in the Pacific Northwest.
