For your intellectual curiosity: Electronic Warfare (EW) uses the entire Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) to detect, deceive, disrupt, or destroy an enemy's Command and Control capabilities, while ensuring friendly control of the spectrum and denying its use to adversaries. It consists of three primary components: Electronic Attack (jamming), Electronic Protection (shielding), and Electronic Support (threat analysis).
