Wetlands are the closest ecosystems to human beings, and they provide multiple functions and services for human societies. The awareness of its importance is rising in the context of the accelerated rate of its diminishing and degradation, and more knowledge about its structure, process, functions, and implications is needed to enhance the conservation and restoration work. This reprint collected nine papers on the topic of wetland conservation and ecological restoration, including biological aspects, biogenic elements, carbon sink function and resilience in wetland, wetland ecological water replenishment, wetland conservation survey, ecological restoration suitability evaluation, and water purification in treatment wetland. We anticipate that the compilation of papers we have assembled will offer clear and valuable insights into wetland conservation and ecological restoration, presenting restoration, conservation, and management implications and speci¿c strategies to address unresolved questions.
