Puberty is a transitional phase during which physiological changes occur as a result of rising hormone levels. The development of the respiratory, resonant, and vocal structures leads to changes in vocal pitch, resulting in the phenomenon of voice breaking, which is more pronounced in boys. This natural transformation requires rehabilitation and readjustment. An individual's identity evolves in tandem with the affective and emotional factors that emerge from this change. The voice reflects a part of our personality. This invaluable tool allows us, in particular, to communicate intentions and emotions and thus plays an important social role. Through this approach, we hope to prevent what can sometimes be an irreversible disengagement from vocal activities in a man's life. As music professionals, we aim to understand these changes so that we can take action and provide educational tools. Even if the benefits of our teaching methods are only realized later on, they may help replenish our choirs, which are in need of male members.
