When Courage Sings

When Courage Sings is a children's story about a groundhog named Gideon who has been hiding in his burrow, wondering if he could ever live unafraid. Gideon whispers one night, before going to sleep, asking for someone or something to help him stop being afraid. Early the next morning, Courage, the Cardinal, meets Gideon in the meadow, answering Gideon's prayer and marking a turning point in Gideon's life, adventures, and new beginnings.
