WHEN JESUS SPOKE IN THE NIGHT: Dreams, Visions, and Fifty-Five Years of God's Faithfulness

There are moments in life when we look back and realize that God's hand was guiding us long before we understood what He was doing. This book is my testimony of that journey. For more than fifty-five years, I have witnessed the faithfulness of Jesus Christ through dreams, visions, and extraordinary experiences that shaped my life and strengthened my faith. What began as a mysterious dream in my childhood eventually became a lifelong story of God's guidance, provision, protection, and love. I was born into a humble family in Indonesia during the 1970s. My father was a schoolteacher and the sole provider for our family. Together, my parents raised seven children despite significant financial challenges. We lived simply, often with very little, yet we were rich in something far more valuable than material possessions-we were taught to trust God. Looking back now, I can clearly see His hand at work. The God who sustained us during seasons of poverty became the same God who opened doors that seemed impossible to open. Among the seven children in our family, two eventually earned doctoral degrees. One became a physician. I earned a master's degree and was blessed with opportunities to serve both as a manager and a university lecturer. One sibling became a judge, another pursued a career in the private sector, and our youngest brother remained close to our parents, caring for them faithfully in their later years. None of this happened because of our own strength. It happened because of God's grace. Again and again, God proved Himself faithful. Throughout my life, He often spoke through dreams and visions. Some brought comfort during difficult seasons. Others served as warnings, guidance, or encouragement. Many of them did not make sense when they first occurred. Only years-sometimes decades-later did I begin to understand what God had been revealing. This book is not about dreams. It is not about visions. And it is certainly not about me. This book is about the faithfulness of Jesus Christ. It is about a God who still speaks, still guides, still protects, and still reveals His love to those who seek Him. My prayer is that as you read these pages, you will not be impressed by the experiences themselves, but by the God behind them. May every chapter strengthen your faith, renew your hope, and remind you that the same God who has carried me through every season of life is still working today.
