"When to the Sessions of Sweet Silent Thought..." is the first line of William Shakpseare's Sonnet 30. The poem's essence shows the narrator bemoaning his life due to failures in love, work, and time management. The majority of the poem depicts the narrator in this outcast state, until he suddenly thinks of the person to whom he is writing a sonnet, and everything changes. The narrator is no longer depressed or worried because the mere thought of this person instantly changes his mood. Love is like that; it can bring one down and lift one up to new heights of happiness. The poetry that is contained in this book does the same. It gives one great joy and happiness with those that are upbeat, and it brings us sadness with those poems that share the agony of lost love. In short, the poetry is all about the joy of finding and being in love, and the sadness of losing love. I hope the reader finds one or two that help them reach the same emotions.
