When Will The Thousand Year Reign Begin? Conversations With Sister VioletFor generations, Christians have debated one of the most intriguing questions in biblical prophecy: When will the thousand-year reign of Christ begin? Will it occur after Christ returns? Is it a future earthly kingdom centered in Jerusalem? Or is the Kingdom already present and advancing in the world today? In When Will The Thousand Year Reign Begin? Conversations With Sister Violet, author Alvin J. Thorne invites readers to join a thoughtful and engaging journey through Scripture as he and Sister Violet carefully examine the biblical evidence surrounding the Millennium of Revelation 20.Through twelve in-depth conversations, they place every major text under investigation, including: - Revelation 20 and the "thousand years" - The Kingdom of God in the teaching of Jesus - Daniel's growing stone kingdom - Isaiah's vision of peace and restoration - The throne of David and Christ's present reign - The Olivet Discourse and "this generation" - The binding of Satan - The first resurrection - Paul's sequence of end-time events in 1 Corinthians 15 - The final rebellion and the consummation of all thingsRather than relying on prophecy charts, popular speculation, or sensational headlines, the discussion returns repeatedly to the text of Scripture itself, drawing heavily from the American Standard Version (1901) and examining the historical, grammatical, and theological context of each passage.Written in a conversational style that is accessible to both new believers and seasoned students of the Bible, this book challenges readers to reconsider long-held assumptions while maintaining a deep respect for God's Word.Whether you hold a Premillennial, Postmillennial, or Amillennial perspective, or are simply seeking answers, this investigation offers a careful, Scripture centered exploration of one of Christianity's most enduring prophetic questions. The result is not merely a study of the Millennium, but a renewed appreciation for the present reign of Christ, the mission of the Church, and the certainty of God's ultimate victory.A conversation. An investigation. A search for biblical truth. When will the thousand-year reign begin? The answer may be far closer than you think.
