Whitney on Whiteface

Thirteen years ago, Tish's family fell apart. Growing up in Lake Placid, she had an idyllic childhood - hiking through the Adirondack Mountains, swimming in Mirror Lake, cruising through town on bikes with her friends. But one night, that life came to screeching halt when her brother died and shattered her world as she knew it. And things haven't quite been the same since. Each summer, Tish returns to Lake Placid with her husband Spencer and his best friend Barrett - not just for the pristine mountain views and alpine air, but to remember and honor the sibling she lost. This year is different, though, because Barrett brings his new love interest Grace along with him, throwing all of Tish's annual rituals off course.Over the course of one week in 2007, Grace and Tish both find themselves trying new things and letting go of old versions of themselves. Together, they realize what it means to drift outside of who you think you are - and what happens to those you love when you do.
