Bol Who's Gonna Run the Truck Stop in Tuba City When I'm Gone? "What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again, there is nothing new under the sun." Ecclesiastes 1:9This book is a historical fiction set during World War II and the turn of the century. It includes what has been called "The Greatest Generation." Well, folks, that generation is dying off -what do we do now? Where will the wisdom and leadership come from: this generation or the next? Or will there even be a next generation?2026 will be the two hundred fiftieth year of our nation's birth. The calendar has flipped, and the world is another century older, and yet we still have the same problems that we had back then: love, hate, betrayal, racism, and addictions. The characters in this book describe how they navigated the world they lived in. You are invited along to laugh, cry, and rejoice with them as they decide: Who's Gonna Run The Truck Stop In Tuba City When I'm Gone?Several years ago, I was invited to participate in a Native American Women's Conference in Chinle, Arizona. While there, I was privileged to pray with a young woman who was married to an alcoholic who physically abused her and her children. Her story broke my heart. At the end of the conference, two Navajo women approached me and asked if I could tell them about Jesus and how they could be with Him in Heaven. "ABSOLUTELY, my pleasure, dear ladies!" They left with the assurance of Eternal Life with Jesus! And I left rejoicing! When I came home, I wrote this book. I'm grateful to God for giving me a husband who supports my dreams and encourages me to write about our Savior Jesus Christ, people, places, and things. -Nell Christianson
