Who We Are Now

Does a troubled past conflict with love? Jade Richards has lived in Manhattan for five years, working as an apprentice at a journalism firm, seemingly living the same day, every day since her dad's sudden passing. She searches for something to make her feel alive again. >Nathan Miles moved to Manhattan for university five years ago to get a degree in business and to get rich quick. He planned on hiding away and do what has to be done for the rest of his life. Especially after the crash and burn of his last relationship. When he moved into his new apartment, he's met with his new gorgeous neighbour, Jade. He instantly is interested in her, but he must hide the way he feels to avoid another soul-crushing heartbreak. Making her hate him seemed like the easiest route. Plot twists, information revealed, and tragic pasts all come together to make Jade and Nathan the people they don't wish they were.
