Whom the Son Sets Free

What did I just do? I just shot and killed a man. I really did it this time! All my other petty crimes and rebellious deeds paled into insignificance to this. I was in real big trouble this time! Well, at least I could pay my mom for the Jeep she loaned me the money for and get my girlfriend a ring. That would make me feel good. This book is a testament to the power, grace, and willingness of God to reach down to the very bottom of the sewer and snatch a person from his hell. This is a testament to the power of God to save, bring alive the spirit and life of a four-year-old girl, and keep her from falling into the traps and temptations of the world. This is a testament to the power of God to bring a boy and a girl, from complete opposite sides of the tracks, together in the sweet fellowship of marriage and devotion to Himself. The boy hated most of his world and murdered a man in a robbery, richly earning and deserving a seventy-year prison sentence. This is where the highway abruptly dropped off and seventy miles of really bad downhill road began.
