"Why are you so quiet?" is the question Tristan Elliot has dreaded their whole life. After years of being shamed for being too quiet and not speaking enough, Tristan discovered spoken word poetry. Tristan wrote their first spoken word piece, "WHY are you SO Quiet," out of frustration with the way the world responds to them, and without realizing that's what they were creating.
