Wild Again

Michael Wild has everything he once dreamed of: wealth, status and control of one of the world's largest funeral businesses. Yet beneath the grandeur of Blakely Hall lies dissatisfaction, scandal and unfinished business. As his wife Margaret launches herself into environmental politics with explosive enthusiasm, old enemies and buried traumas begin resurfacing. Lavinia Mountjoy returns to Walchester Castle haunted by alcoholism and memories she cannot escape, while a disgraced psychiatrist sees opportunity within her vulnerability.Against a backdrop of conservation battles, political absurdity, aristocratic decay and lingering criminal scandal, Michael searches for meaning beyond power and money.Darkly comic, provocative and deeply eccentric, Wild Again is a sharp British satire about identity, ambition, environmental zeal and the strange business of being alive.
