Wild medicinal plants in Bukhara Region

Currently, approximately 80% of the world's population uses medicinal plants, and more than 35% of the medicines used are derived from medicinal plants.The traditional use of medicinal plants depends primarily on socio-economic factors, not climate conditions or the richness of their flora.Ethnobotanical research plays a key role in further understanding these processes and finding practical solutions. This monograph, for the first time, compiles a list of 58 species of medicinal plants, 176 of which are rare in the Bukhara region, and also compiles GIS maps reflecting their distribution.The monograph is intended for students and teachers studying biology, pharmaceutics, medicinal plants, and ecology at technical schools, institutes, and universities, and is intended for those working with medicinal plants.
