Wisdom and sustainable development: Book one

Sustainable development is wisdom. As wisdom has always existed, it's easy to find traces and calls for sustainable development throughout the ages and everywhere. These traces are the proverbs and quotations showing the extent to which existence has always understood the need to combine Economy, Society and Environment for a sustainable existence. In practice, however, major deviations have been observed, leading to mal-development characterized by internal and international social inequalities, and the destruction of nature.Faced with these challenges to the present and future, we have chosen to highlight proverbs and quotations that offer solutions and reinforce the importance and necessity of sustainable development. We've selected 360 of them, covering a year's worth of wisdom at a rate of 30 per month, corresponding to one book of the entire 360 proverbs collection. This is book one of a 12-volume series.May your reading be sweet and engage you personally in contributing to sustainable development, which remains a lasting collective work for a viable economy, in an equitable society in a liveable environment.
