Wolof for Beginners

Capital Languages' mission is to record the minority languages and dialects of the world, and create basic learning materials for students to use.Wolof is a Niger-Congo language spoken by over 6 million people, primarily serving as the major lingua franca in Senegal (spoken by 85% of the population) and as a significant language in The Gambia and Mauritania. It is an oral-based, West Atlantic language with strong cultural ties to Sufi brotherhoods, noted for being relatively easy to learn for basic communication.
