Women Entrepreneurship and Skill Development: Awareness among College Students

Entrepreneurship has emerged as a powerful tool for economic development, employment generation, and social empowerment, especially in developing countries like India. In recent years, despite India's impressive economic growth, the challenge of unemployment-particularly among educated youth-continues to persist. Rural women college students face additional barriers such as limited access to resources, lack of exposure, socio-cultural constraints, and inadequate skill-based training. In this context, entrepreneurship offers a viable pathway not only for self-employment but also for fostering inclusive and sustainable development.
