This work focuses on female leadership and sociocultural dynamics in the Far North region of Cameroon: the case of the commune of Meri. This scientific analysis poses the problem of the impact of female leadership in sociocultural dynamics. Based on a purely qualitative method and combining different theories, it emerges from the results obtained that women formerly confined to social representations linked to sex now constitute, through their leadership, a lever for socio-cultural transformation. However, despite this emergence of female leadership, it should be noted the persistence of certain obstacles to the emancipation of women.
