Workers' Social Participation

The main objective of this book is to promote a broad and critical reflection on the social participation of workers in the construction of policies and practices aimed at health and safety in the workplace. In addressing the issue, the aim is to highlight the importance of a working environment that prioritizes the physical and psychological integrity of workers as a fundamental and inalienable right, as advocated by national legislation, such as the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT), and international treaties ratified by Brazil, such as the Conventions of the International Labor Organization (ILO). The book therefore seeks to contribute to understanding and strengthening a preventive culture in the workplace.
