Worlds Apart

Todd Eldridge, a minister-in-training, slips back in time to discover an America that is less sophisticated, more innocent, and yet filled with complications and strife. The teeming sidewalks throng with Bostonians out for news, shopping, entertainment, or to earn a livable wage. Despite all of this meaningful personal interaction, he encounters a city isolated by persistent cultural differences and prejudices. Convinced that "love always wins," he comes face to face with the reality that, even as they ride the narrow trolley tracks side by side, sometimes fate conspires to keep lovers worlds apart.
