Genesis says we were made in God's image. Now we have made something in ours. The title does double theological work and so does this book. In Our Image is a theological reckoning with artificial intelligence, not a dismissal of technology, and not an uncritical celebration of it, but an honest, rigorous engagement with what AI means for our understanding of the human person, for justice and power, for creativity and wisdom, for the relationship between the created and the creator.
