You ARE NOT That SPECIAL: the Danger of Pride, Power Humility, and Reality God Can Replace

With a blend of biblical insight, practical wisdom, humour and real life observations, Solomon challenges readers to confront one of the oldest troubles in humanity, pride disguised as importance. You Are Not That Special is not an attempt by Solomon to tell everyone else to be humble whilst utting himself on a pedestal. Quite the opposite. He is holding up the mirror, including to himself. Because when God uses you, you should not confuse been chosen to being the only choice. When God gives you a platform, do not mistake the platform for the throne. And when God blesses you, do not forget the Blesser. The praye of the author is that through this book, readers would laugh at themselves, rethink their importance, embrace humility, and altimately discover the freedom that comes from knowing that the world does not revolve around us, but our lives should revolve around Christ. After all, there is something wonderful liberating about realising thatYou are valuable. You are loved. You are called. You are gifted. But you are not that special. And that is actually good news.
