You Belong Here: A Story of Otherworldly Help in Finding My Place

Foreword by Asha Frost, Indigenous Medicine Woman and bestselling author of You Are the Medicine Who are you, really? Are you safe?>Using personal story as universal medicine, You Belong Here offers a gentle yet revolutionary framework for exploring your answers to these questions. Kara Simons intimately understands the heartbreak (and wild joy!) of self-liberation. Abandoning the Mormon theology she was raised in triggered years of detox and self-doubt alongside harrowing physical experiences. Through trust and practice, dreams and meditations became doorways for her to learn from nature and ancestor spirits about the Love that always holds us. Then Bartholomew, a wise spirit being, challenged her to do what scared her most: own all of her story out loud. In the otherworld where imagination and spirit dance, Kara gathered proof that we're never separate from the center of loving intelligence or the many beings whose friendship supports our unique roles inside the anthill of the Universe. Within the spiral of a nine-year cycle in her life, Kara spins together intimate experiences, practical tips, and journaling exercises to help you remember: you always belong here, too.
