You can write a book Too

There was a time when I never imagined that I would becomean author.I was just somebody who had ideas.I had thoughts running through my mind, stories I wantedto tell, poems I wanted to write, and experiences I wanted toput into words. I started with lyrics and poetry, and eventuallythose words grew into books.Looking back now, I realize that becoming an author was notsomething that happened overnight. It was a journey.I had to learn how to take an idea and turn it into somethingpeople could actually read. I had to learn about editing, for-matting, book covers, publishing platforms, ISBNs, print books,eBooks, audiobooks, marketing, and everything else that comesalong with putting a book into the world. And believe me, I did not know everything when I started.I had questions.I made mistakes.I had moments when I wondered if I was doing things the rightway. But I kept learning. That is one of the biggest reasons I decided to write this book.I know there are people out there who have a book inside ofthem but don't know where to begin. Maybe you have alreadyiiiwritten your manuscript but have no idea what to do next. Maybeyou have an idea for a book but keep putting it off because thepublishing process seems complicated.Maybe you are asking yourself:Where do I publish my book? How much is this going to cost?Do I need an ISBN?How do I make a book cover? How do I format my manuscript? How can I publish an eBook? What about an audiobook? How can I get my book into bookstores? What publishing company should I use? These are real questions, and I have had to learn many of theseanswers myself. This book was created to help make that process easier tounderstand.I am not writing this book to tell you that there is only oneway to become an author. There isn't.There are different publishing companies, different platforms, different services, different prices, and different approaches. What works for one author may not work for another. That is why I want you to explore your options.Do your research.Read the terms and conditions.Compare the services.Look at the costs.Understand what you are paying for.And most importantly, make the decision that makes sensefor your own book and your own circumstances.I also want to be clear about something.
