"Tag. You're it!" Zoey announced onto her sister's voicemail before re-cradling her cordless phone. Zoey and Julia love their game of phone "tag" that started when Julia went away to college. They have always been very close and the separation has been especially hard on Zoey. Luckily, she has good friends and fun parents to keep her company, along with a poetry club and a crush on Braxton. When tragedy strikes Zoey's family, Zoey is crippled by her grief. With the help of her friends, she learns the importance of letting those who love her, help her. She also learns that despite our trials, life must eventually go on.
