Zora vs. The Mean Girl

Zora has mastered the art of being invisible. Three weeks into seventh grade at Riverside Middle School, she's perfected the ability to slip through hallways unnoticed, eat lunch alone, and disappear into her sketchbook, the only place where she truly comes alive. But when Chloe Winters, the school's reigning queen bee, publicly humiliates her with a racial slur, something inside Zora snaps. In a moment of fury, she creates a savage drawing of Chloe as a yapping designer dog and posts it to her long-forgotten art blog. By morning, it's gone viral. Suddenly, Zora isn't invisible anymore. Her anonymous blog becomes a voice for every student who's suffered in silence, giving them courage to share their own stories of bullying and pain. But as the blog's popularity explodes, so does Chloe's rage and her determination to unmask and destroy the artist behind it. When an innocent classmate is accused of creating the drawings, Zora faces an impossible choice: stay silent and safe, or step into the light and risk everything. With the help of an unlikely alliance, Maya, the fierce soccer player; Sophia, Chloe's former right hand seeking redemption; and Ryan, the kind-hearted boy who sees her when no one else does. Zora must find the courage to use her real voice before someone else pays the price for her art.
