A Decade Of Change

The last ten years of the railway network have seen many changes and developments in every part of the country. Using the collections of four top railway photographers, this large landscape book illustrates over 20 different classes of locomotive and around 70 different liveries during the last ten years of operation. The locations are all highly scenic with all the country covered; from the coastal splendour of Devon and Cornwall right up to the majestic mountains of Scotland, and the quality of the photographs is superlative. Most photographs are provided as full page size, giving a real sense of drama. The majority of the photographs included illustrate locomotive hauled trains, though the authors have also included a selection of images of DMUs and EMUs. The chosen selection reveals the number of changes that have occurred over the last ten years and the many liveries that have come and gone.
