Make sure all areas are covered before applying any excess product from the glove to your hands and feet. Step 3. Can be rinsed off after 1 hour with warm water. For a more subtle color, wash off after 1 hour. For a medium to dark tan, leave on for up to 4 hours. For a darker tan, leave on for 8 hours before showering off the color.
