DIVINE INSPIRATION: An AEGIS OPERATION CHRONICLE - Book 1

A retired Navy commander. A fixed pension that can't keep up. And a voice in the night that changes everything.Bastien Le Bon spent thirty years auditing the seen-cargo manifests, supply lines, and the hard logistics of keeping fleets moving. In retirement, he sits at his Idaho kitchen table staring at spreadsheets that refuse to yield, watching inflation and corporate fraud erode the future he promised his wife. Then the Still, Small Voice speaks. What begins as a quiet confrontation with scarcity becomes a divine commission: stop trying to beat a broken system at its own game and instead become the filter through which only truth can pass. Armed with decades of forensic discipline and a set of uncompromising spiritual Rules of Engagement, Bastien launches AEGIS-a zero-trust auditing protocol designed to expose the "Joker-Brokers," phantom fuel allocations, and sophisticated document fraud poisoning global commodity markets. From forged tank receipts in Rotterdam to the high-desert redoubts of the American West, Bastien and his wife Melodi follow a trail of deception that reaches far deeper than simple scams. Every clean contract they force into the light strengthens a growing network of stewards. Every exposed lie tightens the noose around a shadow architecture that has siphoned real energy and real wealth for generations. This is not a story about getting rich.It is a story about alignment.About learning to audit the unseen.About discovering that the greatest leverage in a world of manufactured scarcity is absolute integrity under a higher law.Divine Inspiration is the gripping first installment in the AEGIS Operation Chronicle-a faith-driven thriller series where spiritual stewardship collides with high-stakes logistics, institutional corruption, and the unyielding demand for truth.
