THE FOUNDATION: An AEGIS OPERATION CHRONICLE - Book 5

Book Description: The Foundation Title: The Foundation: Book 5 of the AEGIS Chronicles Genre: Financial Techno-Thriller / Modern Western / Action & Suspense Short Description (Amazon KDP Bullet/Blurb) A routine midstream fuel audit in the high desert of Idaho triggers an alarm that hasn't sounded in a hundred years. When retired Navy Intelligence Commander Bastien Le Bon runs a standard forensic audit on a regional energy packet, he expects minor clerical errors. Instead, the zero-trust algorithms of his AEGIS 4.0 protocol uncover an encrypted metadata trail leading backward through a century of corporate reorganizations, legacy bank ciphers, and federal purges-straight to the founding of the Federal Reserve in 1913. As Bastien and his wife, Melodi, dig deeper from their Pocatello homestead, they uncover the ghost of a secret agreement: "The House of the Thirteen"-a hidden architecture of private privilege buried beneath the nation's public monetary system. Backed by six Western governors leveraging emergency infrastructure laws, Bastien upgrades his system to AEGIS 5.0 to wage an uncompromising forensic war against time, administrative cover-ups, and century-old banking lineages. From the frozen plains of Idaho to restricted federal vaults in Maryland, The Foundation is a fast-paced, high-stakes techno-thriller exploring physical parity, state sovereignty, and the dangerous weight of what survives when the truth is forced into the light.
