Homeshake Helium (CD)

Helium is a limited edition LP by Homeshake, available on coloured vinyl and rooted in a dreamy blend of indie rock, lo fi RnB and smooth electronic textures. Released in 2019, it showcases Peter Sagar’s introspective, bedroom pop approach, with intimate vocals, woozy synths and understated rhythms that create a hazy, late night atmosphere. The production feels both home spun and meticulously crafted, emphasizing mood over virtuosity and inviting the listener into a subdued, personal sound world.Across its concise runtime, the album drifts between melancholic reflection and gentle, laid back grooves, often favouring repetition and subtle variation over big dynamic shifts. This looping, inward feel suits the coloured vinyl limited edition format, framing Helium as a collector oriented release that rewards full album listening rather than isolated moments. Its combination of genre bending softness, restrained energy and home recorded character has made it a distinctive entry in Homeshake’s catalog and a quiet favourite among contemporary indie and lo fi RnB audiences.
