I AM AN AIRMAN: Proud to Serve

What does it mean to proudly serve as an Airman? Before an aircraft ever leaves the ground, an entire team of Airmen works carefully to make the mission possible. >Airmen inspect equipment, study maps, communicate clearly, practice for emergencies, transport supplies, and support rescue missions. Some fly aircraft, some repair engines, and others use computers, radios, medical expertise, or specialized equipment. Every role matters, and no mission is completed alone. Children will also learn that Airmen sometimes serve far from home, yet the voices, pictures, and love of family continue to give them strength. Created for ages 3-7, this colorful picture book celebrates teamwork, responsibility, preparation, and helping people at home and around the world-without focusing on combat. Perfect for military families, classrooms, libraries, and children who love aircraft. An uplifting introduction to Air Force service from the Proud to Serve series.
