This book presents the full texts of the three teachings of Krishna - the Bhagavad Gita, the Anu Gita, and the Uddhava Gita. The study of these texts enables the reader to master the teaching of Krishna. The English translations of the Bhagavad Gita and the Anu Gita, based on texts from the Mahabharata, are, in this edition, almost literal translations from the original Sanskrit. Therefore, some words may seem awkwardly linked and placed unexpectedly within the sentence. The division of the stanzas into couplets, as it appeared in the original Sanskrit, has been retained precisely for this purpose. This choice aimed to capture the spirit of the Sanskrit text, so that the reader could experience the unfolding of the narrative as presented by Krishna, the author of the Gita, as recounted by the sage Sanjaya, and recorded by Vyasadeva, the holy author of the Mahabharata. As for the translation of the Uddhava Gita, based on the Sanskrit text of the Bhagavata Purana, it is presented in a gentler, more literary style.
