Live Trax Vol. 4 is the fourth release of the Dave Matthews Band's Live Trax series. It is a two-disc set released on September 2, 2005 featuring the band's concert in Richmond, Virginia on April 30, 1996. This show was the release party for the Dave Matthews Band album Crash which was released that day. This is their first concert with the sound system they inherited from the Grateful Dead. Dave Matthews Band, sometimes shortened to DMB, is an American rock band formed in Charlottesville, Virginia in 1990. Founding members were singer-songwriter and guitarist Dave Matthews, bassist Stefan Lessard, violinist Boyd Tinsley, drummer and backing vocalist Carter Beauford, and saxophonist LeRoi Moore.
