Monet in the 20th Century

Although Claude Monet is regarded as on of the best painters of the 19th century, one third of his career actually fell within the 20th century. Over these 26 years he created some of his most challenging paintings, characterized by their grander scale and bold technical experimentation. This text focuses solely on this body of work and features more than 80 paintings.
