Tunisia and climate change

Climate change, caused by global warming, has become an undeniable reality. It is a matter of international policy.Over the period 2001-2020, global surface temperatures have risen by 0.99°C compared with the period 1850-1909. Furthermore, it has been shown that in the event of a global temperature rise of 2°C, the Mediterranean region, to which Tunisia belongs, would experience a warming of between 1 and 3°C.Global warming, the result of human activity, has adversely affected all components of the universe. However, it is one of the main factors in environmental upheaval. Studies have shown that Tunisia has already suffered the negative impacts of global warming, particularly drought, seasonal disruption, flooding, degradation of ecosystems and agro-ecosystems...
